While summer season is in full swing at Four Seasons Hampshire, homemade gelato, al fresco feasting and open-air theatre performances aplenty, plans are already well underway at the historic Estate for the best festive season yet. Roaring fires, Christmas markets, family time and festive feasts: Christmas at Four Seasons Hampshire is the most wonderful time of the year.
What’s on at Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire this Christmas?
Off Piste: For an authentic taste of the Swiss Alps in the heart of the English countryside, the Hotel’s ski lodge restaurant Off Piste will make a welcome return. The warming Alpine menu will include cheese fondue, bratwurst and charcuterie sharing platters, followed by spiced orange pie and a sharing chocolate fondue.
Christmas Capers: Four Seasons Hampshire will play host to a Christmas market, whereby guests can explore the Estate’s festive delights, including eye-catching wildlife sculptures donated by The Farnham Sculpture Park, a vintage car display and birdwatching.
Christmas Dining: Executive Chef Talha Barkin’s love for local produce will be showcased in every dish in Wild Carrot, as he creates connections to the landscape through ingredients, presentation and flavours. From the traditional Christmas Day lunch and family-style Boxing Day feast, to an Indian cuisine evening and a five course New Year’s Eve dinner, guests will enjoy an exceptional culinary journey this festive season.
Festivi-Teas: The Hotel will serve a festive afternoon tea in the picturesque Drawing Room. Festive themed cakes and pastries will be on the menu, alongside a selection of traditional finger sandwiches and freshly baked scones. In the spirit of the season, Champagne packages will also be available for a truly memorable celebration.
Festive Spirits: For the perfect Christmas tipple and a relaxing escape from the Christmas chaos, guests will be able to join talented Mixologist Surinder Virk in the property’s historic 18th century Library Bar, serving a host of craft whiskies and Christmas cocktails – perfect to get in the festive spirit.
Fun-Filled Activities: Younger guests can delight in a host of festive fun, with everything from cosy carriage rides around the estate, to festive craft activities at the property’s onsite kids club.
Family Pantomime Performances: Following the success of previous years, the interactive shows will return once again.
Winter Water Wonderland: Little ones can make a splash in the family adventure pool - Sharkie’s Reef.
Special Moments: To ring in Christmas, carol singing and mulled wine will be served on Christmas Eve, in anticipation of Santa’s arrival on Christmas Day as he joins guests in the Manor House to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. Families will also be able to have their photo taken and created into a postcard to share with loved ones.
Christmas Spa Special: The Hotel will also offer guests a seasonal spa treatment, beginning with a signature foot scrub, followed by a full body massage incorporating the five elements, using Tibetan techniques and rose quartz crystals. The treatment is completed with a 111Skin Rose Gold Mask, tightening and firming the skin, plumping fine lines and wrinkles while soothing inflammation, before a delicious festive spiced tea. Rate: GBP 210 for a 50 minute massage.
