A Feast for the Senses this Spring at Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire
This spring, guests of Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire are invited to discover a taste of the English countryside with the launch of a brand new gelato shop. A fusion of traditional Italian culture with locally sourced British ingredients, the trolley will feature six delicious favours for guests to choose from.
Flavours will include everything from Hampshire honey, made with honeycomb from the property’s very own on-site beehives, to perfect plum, created with plums picked from the Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire orchard.
Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire will also once again open its much-loved alfresco restaurant, La Terrazza. This April, La Terrazza will offer a vibrant feast for the senses, combining the best of local Hampshire produce with classic Italian dishes.
Located on the Wild Carrot terrace, La Terrazza features a traditional pizza oven and lush countryside views, delivering a rich rustic setting, infused with warm and welcoming Italian spirit. Dishes showcase Italian cuisine, prepared with passion and showmanship in an open kitchen.
Bursting with fresh, seasonal ingredients, the new menu offers a pure taste of Italy, drawing on the culinary storytelling passion of Chef Pizzaiolo Angelo Doganieri. The Italian gastronomic culinary journey begins with stone baked pizzas, creamy artisanal cheeses and hand-baked traditional breads, complemented by a colourful selection of freshly prepared salads and fine Italian cold cuts. Diners can complete their culinary experience with an array of fresh Italian-inspired cocktails.
La Terrazza adds to a range of delicious dining options at the country estate from a quintessential afternoon tea to a perfect picnic menu, presenting an unforgettable countryside dining experience for families, couples and even canine friends.
Perfect Picnic – Delicious Dishes Combined with Sublime Views of the Hampshire Countryside

Featuring a selection of carefully sourced local ingredients, the new picnic menu features Hampshire trout, creme fraiche, watercress on brown roll; homemade quiche with spinach and mature cheddar; vegan chocolate and raspberry mousse tart. Younger guests (and those young at heart) can also indulge in a Winnie the Pooh picnic, with a Nutella and banana, brioche roll, crudités with hummus dip, and a blueberry and lemon buckle.
