This Lunar New Year, Hong Kong pulses with energy as festive lanterns illuminate the streets and the rhythm of lion dances echoes through neighbourhoods. Perched above Victoria Harbour, Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong invites guests to celebrate the Year of the Horse with time-honoured traditions, culinary artistry, and moments of renewal.

"Lunar New Year is a time for connection, renewal, and creating meaningful memories with loved ones," says Charles Fisher, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong. "As I celebrate my first Lunar New Year at Four Seasons Hong Kong, I'm excited to welcome guests to experience this vibrant tradition with us—whether gathering for a family feast with harbour views, beginning the year with a wellness ritual, or simply enjoying the warmth of togetherness."

A Festive Escape with Walk of Fortune Tradition

Culinary Traditions Reimagined

Lunar New Year Puddings

At two-Michelin-starred Lung King Heen, Executive Chinese Chef Chan Yan Tak introduces a new creation for 2026: Water Chestnut Pudding with Candied Citron (HKD 580). This refreshing pudding showcases the chef's meticulous approach—premium Pan Tang water chestnut is hand-chopped into firm pieces to ensure satisfying texture in every bite, while larger pieces of Old Fragrant Citron (老香王), a specialty preserved fruit from Chaozhou, release their distinctive fresh fragrance during steaming. The result is a light, crisp pudding that balances traditional water chestnut comfort with the bright, aromatic notes of citron.

Returning favourites include:

  • Lunar New Year Pudding with Coconut Milk (HKD 550)
  • Abalone and Turnip Pudding with Conpoy (HKD 680)
  • Taro Pudding with Black Truffle and Air-dried Meat (HKD 680)
