Host hotel welcomes with opening reception, exclusive guest shifts at Bandista, educational experiences, and additional activations to create memorable moments

As host hotel of the second annual Texas Cocktail Week Presented by Michter's, Four Seasons Hotel Houston announces a line-up of exciting activations for guests, locals, and visitors to experience the best of cocktail and bar culture from Texas and around the world from September 20 – 24, 2026.

In addition to hosting the opening party at Bayou & Bottle and exclusive guest shifts at Bandista, the Hotel will showcase additional activations and serve as the central gathering and connecting place throughout the week. Four Seasons Hotel Houston serves as a vibrant gathering place for the global cocktail community, welcoming both guests and locals for a dynamic lineup of events, educational experiences, and exclusive activations. With all programming open to the public, attendees can craft a personalized itinerary and engage with the experiences that resonate most. Beyond scheduled events, Beverage manager Johnathan Jones and the teams at Bandista and Bayou & Bottle will remain open nightly until midnight, providing a natural meeting place throughout the week where visitors can enjoy acclaimed cocktails, exceptional cuisine, and signature Four Seasons service throughout the festivities.

Sunday, September 20

  • 5:00 – 8:30 pm: Opening Party – The kickoff celebration unfolds as the team at Bayou & Bottle welcomes some of Texas’ top bars, including The Roosevelt Room and Bar Fino from Austin, Bar Collette from Dallas, and Sternewirth and Mixtli from San Antonio. They will be joined by Locale Firenze from Florence, Italy - ranked #22 in the World’s 50 Best Bars, while guests enojy a live country music DJ performance by Lindsay Rae (Two Headed Dog) and lite bites from Bayou & Bottle’s menu showcasing the “melting pot of Houston.” Bandista, the #1 bar in Texas and among North America’s 50 Best Bars, will also pop-up during the festivities to showcase one of the acclaimed speakeasy’s signature cocktails. This event is open to the public with a drop-in format.

Monday, September 21

  • 6:30 – 9:30 pm: Punch Room Tampa Guest Shift at Bayou & Bottle – Enjoy an evening of history and cocktails as Punch Room Tampa brings the acclaimed franchise’s polished tableside punch service to Houston. Alongside the sips, Beverage Director Nihat Cam will share how punch evolved into the modern cocktail through an immersive audio-visual storytelling experience as guests enjoy one-hour seatings with reservations.
  • 7:00 – 10:00 pm: Botanist Bar Guest Shift at Bandista – Featuring sophisticated yet whimsical cocktails alongside chemist-like designs, Vancouver’s Botanist Bar stages behind the bookcase to share their creations. Beverage Director Grant Sceney and Head Bartender Justin Powell will present five of Botanist's acclaimed signature drinks, including the Botanist Martini and the Raincouver cocktail.  Botanist has been honored by North America’s 50 Best Bars four years running. Reservations for one-hour seatings are required, though walk-ins will be accommodated, as available.

Tuesday, September 22

  • 5:00 – 8:00 pm: Toby Maloney Guest Shift at Bayou & Bottle – Bartending legend, award winning author, and bar owner Toby Maloney sets up behind the bar for a rare happy hour guest shift. He’ll be serving up classic cocktails and signing purchased copies of his latest book with Emma Janzen, The Classic Cocktail Sessions: A Bartender's New-Fashioned Approach to the World's Most Beloved Recipes. This event is open to the public, with a drop-in format.
  • 7:00 – 10:00 pm: Library by the Sea & Bon Vivants Guest Shift at Bandista – This renowned duo from the Caribbean brings the islands behind the bookcase, with a dynamic collaboration. Both named among North America’s 50 Best Bars, Library by the Sea (Grand Cayman) and Bon Vivants (Nassau, Bahamas) will present five signature cocktails between the two bars, featuring ingredients from the islands, with a music playlist to match. Reservations for one-hour seatings are required, though walk-ins will be accommodated, as available.

Wednesday, September 23

  • 7:00 – 10:00 pm: Moebius Milano Guest Shift at Bandista – Named #7 by World’s 50 Best Bars and a Michelin star recipient, Moebius Milano brings its inventive and theatrical cocktails from the fashion capital of Milan, Italy to Bandista. Owner/Maestro Lorenzo Querci and Head Bartender Alessandro Merlini will present five of Moebius’ acclaimed signature drinks, which redefine Italian classics, including its hugely popular Pesto Martini. Reservations for one-hour seatings are required, though walk-ins will be accommodated, as available.

Thursday, September 24

  • 7:00 – 9:00 pm: Dalmore Masterclass - Take part in a Dalmore masterclass hosted by Bayou & Bottle General Manager Brianna Gonzales and Robby Cook, Dalmore’s Single Malt Specialist. This two-hour journey begins with a custom welcome cocktail followed by a tasting of four extraordinary whiskeys, each selected for its depth, character, and craftsmanship, showcasing the brand’s storied legacy: The Dalmore 12, 15, 18, and 30 Year Old expressions. Reservations are required for this experiences which includes lite bites.
  • 7:00 – 10:00 pm: ViceVersa & Vacanza Guest Shift at Bandista – Classic Italian cocktail culture (by way of South Florida) comes to town for a special experience featuring Valentino Longo, creative director of ViceVersa (named to North America’s 50 Best Bars) and Vacanza (soon to open at Four Seasons Resort Fort Lauderdale). A selection of five signature cocktails between the two bars will be presented, highlighting Italian craftsmanship, the tradition of aperitivo, and the celebration of reimagined hotel bar classics. Reservations for one-hour seatings are required, though walk-ins will be accommodated, as available.
