Jackson Hole, U.S.A.

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole welcomes three key new members to the executive team – General Manager Jane Kim, Director of Food and Beverage Jose Vargas and Director of Marketing Robert Chinman – who together will guide the property through the upcoming festive season and shape the vision for the coming year and beyond.

General Manager Jane Kim

Jane Kim will lead the executive team at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole as General Manager, bringing extensive luxury hospitality experience to her new position.

“I’m truly honoured to step into this role – my first as a general manager – at such an iconic property, located at the doorstep to two National Parks and offering ski-in/ski-out access to the best skiing and riding in North America,” says Kim. “My goal is to continue to elevate the guest experience as we prepare for our festive season in the Tetons, building upon a well-established service culture of excellence and innovation.”

Kim’s most recent appointment was resort manager at The Ritz-Carlton Dallas, Las Colinas, where she successfully navigated the transition of the property from Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas. Prior to the transition, Kim was Resort Manager at Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas from 2021 to 2022. Other key appointments during her time with Four Seasons included opening the brand’s Napa Valley property as Resort Manager, as well as leadership roles at Four Seasons properties in Boston and Washington, DC. Her career with the brand began in California, with appointments at both Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel, and Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village, when she joined the organization in 2007.

Director of Food and Beverage Jose Vargas

Director of Food and Beverage Jose Vargas joins Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole to lead the food and beverage operation, following his most recent appointment at Four Seasons Resort Lanai.

“I am excited for this new chapter in my career and thrilled to be leading the food and beverage operation at such a key time, following the recent opening of First Chair grab and go and 80 Proof speakeasy,” says Vargas. “I look forward to continuing to enhance our restaurant outlets and banquet operation and guiding the property through the exciting transformation of Westbank Grill later this year.”

Originally from El Salvador, Vargas studied hospitality management at Les Roches International School of Hospitality Management in Bluche, Switzerland. His first appointment with Four Seasons was a college internship at Four Seasons Resort Peninsula Papagayo, Costa Rica. From there, Vargas transitioned to Four Seasons Hotel Chicago as a manager in training in 2010, and subsequently worked in various food and beverage leadership roles at the brand’s properties in Doha, Hualalai, Maui, Sense Lanai, and most recently, the beach resort at Lanai.

Director of Marketing Robert Chinman

Director of Marketing Robert Chinman arrives at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole from the brand’s Nashville property, which opened in November 2022 and where Chinman played a pivotal role in guiding the direction, positioning and strategy as the opening Director of Public Relations and Communications.

“The opportunity to lead the sales and marketing team in Jackson Hole is a dream assignment,” says Chinman. “Coming from a city property, I am in awe of the sheer natural beauty of our surroundings, and the possibilities for adventure and exploration. I am excited to build upon signature programming including our Day with the Wolves and American Serengeti experiences to share this pristine wilderness with our guests.”

Chinman started his Four Seasons journey in 2017 as Director of Public Relations and Communications at Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island. He next moved to Boston in 2019 to join the pre-opening team on the city’s second property, Four Seasons Hotel One Dalton Street, Boston. The COVID-19 pandemic offered Chinman an opportunity to extend his experience outside of the brand at SunSwept Resorts in St. Lucia, albeit with every intention to one day return, which he did in Nashville six months later.
