Nautilus x TELU: Raise a Toast to the Best of Bali at Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta
Jakarta’s cocktail connoisseurs are in for a treat: on June 23 and 24, 2023, Nautilus at Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta will host a special collaboration with TELU, the newly opened rustic-chic cocktail bar at Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay.
Taking their place behind the bar are two of Asia’s leading mixology talents, both known for their innovative approach and passion for sustainability. Meet Jan Jurecka, the Bar Manager behind the exciting launch of TELU, and Julian Brigget, who has just made the move to Nautilus from the acclaimed Bar Trigona (Best Bar in Malaysia and #29 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars) at Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur.
“We are thrilled to have Jan here. Great cocktails are all about storytelling, and TELU has some wonderful Balinese-inspired tales to share,” says Julian. “On a personal front, I’m delighted to start my journey at Nautilus with this event. Collaborating with talented friends and peers is a great way to celebrate Asia’s dynamic drinks landscape and bring new libations to the city. Our guests can definitely look forward to more bartender takeovers in the future!”
For two nights only, guests can sample a selection of original Nautilus x TELU cocktails, combining traditional Balinese flavours and artistry with modern mixology techniques. Standouts include Down To Earth (East Indies gin blended with elements such as spirulina, matcha, passionfruit and honey nectar), Coral Guardian (Palwana arak elevated with pandan, peanut, dragonfruit jam and more), and Dirty Margarita (El Jimador Blanco with lacto-fermented strawberry, chilli, agave and mezcal).
Jan and Julian have also got a little something special for designated drivers and teetotallers — the signature mocktail Murni, crafted with zero proof tequila, lime, trigona honey and smoked salt.
The TELU takeover will be hosted by Nautilus Bar on June 23 and 24, 2023, from 6:00 pm to 1:00 am.
