Launched on April 7, 2025, Tatler names Bar Trigona at Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur as one of the 20 Best Bars in Malaysia 2025. Featuring the country’s top bars and restaurants, as determined by a panel of esteemed judges alongside the Tatler Dining team, the list is set to serve as one of the definitive guides for where to eat and drink in Malaysia.
Building on a 40-year legacy of success, Tatler Best Malaysia is an expansion of the Tatler Dining Guide, offering a valuable resource for discerning travellers and gourmands. The guide showcases venues that excel in their offerings, both pushing the boundaries of the local hospitality scene as well as standing out in terms of service and special touches. This year is the first year that Tatler has specifically profiled leading bars in Malaysia.
Tatler Best Malaysia lauds the imaginative cocktail program led by Beverage Manager Rohan Matmary, known for his “creative and fun” approach. Spotlighting the current Colour Me Curious 2.0 menu, the guide mentions standout drinks such as The Wagyu, a full-bodied concoction layered with umami and spice, and The Elysian, an indulgent blend of vodka and Chablis, crowned with Trigona Oscietra caviar.

Colour Me Curious 2.0
Earlier this year, Bar Trigona unveiled a vibrant new journey of colours, aromas and flavours with its Colour Me Curious 2.0 menu, designed to spark wonder and awaken the senses. Inviting guests to sip their way through Malaysia’s natural abundance, the reimagined beverage selection ranges from bottled treasures and honey-forward drinks to low ABV and spirit-free options.
Sustainable Tipples for the Win
Taking a farm-to-glass approach, Bar Trigona is widely acclaimed for its inventive use of homegrown ingredients. The team partners closely with Malaysian farmers and food producers, aiming to not only support sustainable practices but also empower local communities. Domestically sourced fruits, herbs, spices and flowers take centre stage behind the bar, with mixologists working meticulously to utilise ingredients in their entirety and reduce food waste.
The bar’s long-standing Adopt a Beehive programme gives guests the chance to symbolically adopt a Trigona beehive, thereby promoting sustainable beekeeping in Malaysia. A portion of the revenue from each cocktail goes towards revitalising indigenous bee habitats, while menus are printed on Eco Hemp paper, made from 25 percent hemp fibres and 75 percent recycled wastepaper.

Bar Trigona has been ranked among Asia’s 50 Best Bars for six consecutive years, with previous wins including the Ketel One Sustainable Bar Award and the Siete Misterios Best Cocktail Menu Award.
