A talkative free spirit, young Ellie Low dreamed of travelling and exploring the world.  While she has spent much of her life in Kuala Lumpur, she gets to know people from all over the world every day, as she helps plan and execute their dream wedding.

Ellie isn’t your typical copy-and-paste kind of girl.  With experience in business development, sales and marketing, she much prefers to focus on the uniqueness of each wedding and couple. “I enjoy reading through each couple’s unusual requests and trying my utmost to accommodate every wish.  My BEOs (Banquet Event Orders) are at least five pages long listing all the dos, don’ts and details so that everything runs like clockwork on the day,” she shares.

Responding to the pressure and insecurity that couples often feel about planning their perfect wedding day, she is quick to allay couples’ fears. “One of the first questions I ask a client is ‘Why did you choose Four Seasons?’” she explains, knowing this helps her plan and emphasise certain aspects.

And while Ellie has no idea what her own wedding will look like, she loves planning and plotting every detail of someone else’s - she even has the unofficial role of "go-to wedding expert" outside of work as well: “My friends often ask me to help them arrange a proposal for their girlfriends.  I come armed with a story board and schedule to help them perform it to perfection.”

Her top tips for the build up and day? To feel all the feelings.  “Find the balance between relaxed, calm and excited,” she advises. “You know we have everything in hand. Relax and leave everything to us.  Channel calm as the wedding day approaches.  And enjoy the excitement of every moment.”

Ellie’s energy and enthusiasm, dedication and stamina know few bounds.  Quick on her feet, she can run a half marathon in the morning and meet a prospective wedding couple in the afternoon.  And she thinks just as quickly too; she has been known to run out and buy a perfectly fitting dress to replace a wine-stained one 45 minutes before the official toasts.

Beyond catering and countdowns, weddings and work, Ellie can be found playing badminton or doing puzzles – as well as continuing her exploration of the world via her love for learning a new language: currently Korean, her fifth and counting.
