Guerlain Partners with Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon for a Special Afternoon Tea
Guerlain is introducing its latest beauty collection by partnering with Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon to present an exclusive ORCHIDÉE IMPÉRIALE themed Afternoon Tea available from Friday, October 20 until November 30, 2023 and returning after the festive season on January 8, 2024 at the Hotel’s Almada Negreiros lounge.
Diogo Lopes, the Hotel’s Executive Pastry Chef, was inspired by the colours and properties of the orchid, queen in the plant kingdom, to create an exceptional afternoon tea, the first of its kind in Lisbon.
Guests can indulge in luxury beauty products and savoury to sweet delicacies served in the relaxing ambience of the Almada Negreiros lounge, surrounded by a stunning white orchid installation.
The afternoon tea menu includes smoked salmon with a gold and bergamot gel; crunchy rice, celery, shimengi and amarante; and foie gras, cereal, and ginja created by Executive Chef Pascal Meynard.
For those with a sweet tooth, there are the traditional freshly baked scones with clotted cream and homemade jam; a caramel, banana and chocolate cremeaux and blueberry tart; a honey and lemon sphere with dry flowers yuzu choux; and a lavender and hibiscus macaron. The tea brings with it an added perk in the form of Guerlain ORCHIDÉE IMPÉRIALE beauty and skincare samples.

About Guerlain
Guerlain is the Parisian alchemist that pursues an infinite quest for wonder of senses and crafts artistic beauty from nature since 1828. As a House of High Perfumery and High Cosmetics, it elevated bespoke to the level of art. This is what makes it exceptional.
The Orchid, A Wonder of Longevity
At the origins of Guerlain's exceptional complete care, a fascinating flower playing with time: the orchid. Queen in the plant kingdom, it possesses prodigious longevity mechanisms, some even live to be a hundred years. Convinced of its infinite potential for the skin, Guerlain created, more than fifteen years ago, the first research centre ever dedicated to an ingredient: the Orchidarium. Experts have identified a prodigious duo of orchids selected out of 30,000 species and concentrated their power in high regeneration technologies.
