Four Seasons Hotel Madrid Launches a New Executive Menu and Tapas Experience at El Patio

Located in the lobby of the best corner building in the capital, El Patio is launching an Executive Menu that combines all the best ingredients of Spanish gastronomy. What was once the operations hall of the Banco Español de Crédito has since become the epicentre of flavour experiences in Madrid, where financial transactions have been replaced by the currency of fine dining. The monumental corner occupied by Four Seasons Hotel Madrid has always been a hotbed of business in Madrid, one feature of this iconic building’s character that the new owners have sought to recover through food. Its revolutionary and updated gastronomy offer therefore offers perfect bites to ensure that the executives working in the area can enjoy a break from the regular hustle and bustle without losing the essence that fills what was once one of the main financial centres in the city.

Four Seasons Hotel Madrid is launching its new Executive Menu with a selection of dishes offering intense flavours, perfect for heading back to the office full of energy after a well-deserved rest. The three courses that make up the menu begin with the subtlety provided by some tasty starters, such as the burrata and gazpacho, the carrot soup or the Caesar salad. These dishes represent a gentle encounter with a menu that introduces the ode to hedonism hiding behind each bite of the main courses, which include the exotic buddha bowl of brown rice, quinoa, avocado, seasonal vegetables and sesame sauce or the Iberian pork. Those looking for some intense flavours can also enjoy a meaty feast for their taste buds with the hamburger on the menu.

Executive Pastry Chef Valentin Mille is the man responsible for concluding this culinary experience with a sweet touch represented by his selection of pastries on display behind glass within the space.

The Executive Menu is available Monday to Friday from 1:00 to 5:00 pm.

Tapas Experience, a Journey Through Classic Spanish Flavours

The Tapas Experience is another of the new highlights available at El Patio and is set to raise the experience in this capital to the next level. From the ovens in the kitchens at Four Seasons Hotel Madrid comes a selection of delicious bites that will reveal the most characteristic flavours of Spanish national cuisine through a new experience based on premium ingredients.

The Tapas Experience can be ordered any day between 1:00 and 7:00 pm at El Patio. It is designed to be enjoyed in twos or as a group and for sharing such delicious bites as the crystal bread with a thin and meticulously prepared layer of tomato underneath the best cut of Spanish ham accompanied by a gazpacho. This ultimate culinary representation of Madrid culture includes dishes named after some of the most iconic places in the city: Callao, with which guests can try a selection of patatas bravas, the gilda “El Patio” or the creamy free-range chicken croquette, the explosive flavour of the shrimp tartar or, finally, the Puerta de Alcalá and its most Castilian of flavours with a delicious selection of Manchego cheese accompanied by the house tarta de queso and torrija.
