Mara Unveils Marisol, A New Private Dining Destination by Chef Gavin Kaysen at Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis

Mara, the Mediterranean-inspired restaurant from James Beard Award–winning Chef Gavin Kaysen, announces the opening of Marisol, a new private dining room at Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis designed to host intimate gatherings, milestone celebrations and meaningful moments.

Marisol embodies Mara’s signature blend of Mediterranean warmth and modern sophistication. Defined by rich textures, a striking fireplace, and oversized windows offering natural light by day and a dramatic backdrop in the evening, the new space creates an atmosphere that feels both elegant and inviting. It is the perfect setting for sharing exceptional cuisine and connection.

At Marisol, guests can enjoy Chef Kaysen’s thoughtfully curated menus, which draw inspiration from the coastal flavours of the Mediterranean while celebrating local ingredients. Each private event can be tailored with bespoke wine pairings, floral styling, and personalized service touches, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience. The room offers flexible seating options for up to 30 guests. Marisol is a versatile space perfect for intimate dinner receptions, milestone celebrations, or executive gatherings.

Marisol joins Mistral and Marin to complete Mara’s private dining experiences. Each of the three private rooms are designed for connection and celebration in distinct ways. Mistral offers a bright, versatile setting for up to 12 guests, ideal for corporate dinners and milestone events, while Marin provides an ultra-private, six to eight guest retreat perfect for intimate family gatherings and VIP occasions.
