Eat and Drink
Providing a warm welcome for Hotel guests and community members alike, the teams at Mara and Nordic Village greet the New Year with a combination of innovative offerings and seasonal comfort. More on menu highlights and reservations:
- Throughout the first month of the year, Mara Bar is rolling out Cocktail of the Moment and NA options in the spirit of Dry January. Made with great care, bartenders look forward to sharing the stories behind these beverages with all who visit.
- Chef’s Table at Mara kicks off the New Year with NA pairings and a focus on winter celebrations. Featured items may include Lobster, Sea Urchin, Halibut, Pheasant, Dry Age Beef, Foie Gras and White Truffles. Reservations through February 28, 2025 are now available on Tock.
- A guest favourite, Mara’s ever-changing prix fixe menu is available Monday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Drawing menu inspiration from the abundance of warmth, vibrant colours and lively atmosphere inside Mara Restaurant, Chef Gavin Kaysen’s team is serving up soups, salads and hearty wraps to melt away the winter chill.
- Those who host a private dining event in Mistral or Marin in January or February 2025 will be gifted a complimentary welcome glass of bubbles or NA sparkling tea for everyone in their group. Full buyouts of Mara Bar and Mara Restaurant are also available. More details.
- The Lodge – the new cozy cocktail lounge in Nordic Village – is extending a special welcome to football fans everywhere, hosting playoff watch parties with beer specials. Fondue a la carte and elevated bar snacks inspired by the smorgasbord will be available soon, too. The Lodge is open to Hotel guests and community members Wednesday through Sunday from 4:00 to 11:00 pm, unless booked for a private event. No reservations are required.
- In addition to a refreshed menu – which includes local Walleye with Nordic-inspired flavours – Nordic Village ushers in 2025 with NA pairings. Reservations through February 28, 2025 are now available on Tock.

Relax and Unwind
Hotel guests and community members are also welcome to winter in The Spa, where they can book a seasonal service or guided sauna experience and enjoy access to the indoor pool with a panorama of a snow-topped city. More on wellness offerings and appointments:
- The Spa is hosting Aura: Sound in Solstice on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at 6:30 pm. This special event includes an evening of relaxation in a rooftop sauna, indoor pool and sound bath. Those interested in more information and reservations are invited to call The Spa at +1 612 895 5707.
- Ever evolving its services to sync with the seasons, The Spa is now offering the HydraFacial and the GLO2Facial. While both provide instant radiance and deep hydration, the HydraFacial leverages vortex-fusion technology to deliver select serums whereas the GLO2Facial combines ultrasound waves and CO2 bubbles to stimulate the skin. Appointments are available via The Spa website.
- Visitors from near and far are invited to shop The Spa’s new collection of pajamas, fragrances, stuffed animals, pom beanies and men’s wear. Collections are on display daily beginning at 10:00 am.
- In collaboration with Cedar and Stone Nordic Sauna, The Spa continues to offer a guided sauna experience on the Hotel rooftop. Appointments are available for one to eight guests via The Spa website.
- Additionally, the rooftop hot tub and indoor pool are open to Hotel guests each day from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm. Serenity Hours – pool access for adults age 18 and older – are observed Friday, Saturday and Sunday between 12:00 noon and 2:00 pm.

Borrow a Jacket
Equipping visitors for winter fun in Minnesota, the Hotel is again collaborating with Canada Goose on a Coat Loaner Program. Available in a variety of styles and sizes, coats are provided on a complimentary basis for the length of one’s stay. Hotel guests interested in borrowing a coat – or purchasing a coat after falling in love with what they borrow – are welcome to contact the Guest Experience team.
Shop on the Rooftop
Nordic Village apparel and accessories like mittens, shawls, coffee mugs and wine bags are available for purchase at the rooftop host stand Wednesday through Sunday.
