Miss River at Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans Welcomes Fall with Seasonal Menu Items and Patio Dining

Chef Alon Shaya and Executive Chef Aleksandre Nadirashvili embrace the flavours of fall with new seasonal dishes at Miss River, located on the ground-level of Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans. In addition to Miss River’s signature menu items, such as the Buttermilk Whole-Fried Chicken and Louisiana BBQ Shrimp, the seasonal menu features a Fried Oyster Sandwich, Heirloom Tomatoes, Jambalaya-Stuffed Acorn Squash, Oxtail Yakamein and Bananas Foster Bread Pudding. Guests can enjoy the comfortable weather by dining on Miss River’s patio, open seven days a week.

“The menu launch comes with much excitement from our culinary team as it allows them to bring guests on a culinary journey through the flavours of autumn. We look forward to hosting guests on our beautiful garden patio and celebrating the change of seasons,” says Jet Gauthier, Restaurant Manager.

Miss River’s lunch menu includes a new sandwich option, the Fried Oyster Sandwich served on buttered toast with pickled vegetables and pineapple slaw. The dinner menu features a Tuna Belly Tartar appetizer with a crab fat cornbread and miso; a Jambalaya-Stuffed Acorn Squash, slow roasted, stuffed with a spicy, Creole chicken and sausage jambalaya, and topped with locally foraged Chantrelle mushrooms; as well as an Oxtail Yakamein made with a rich bone broth, beef tendons, Sonoran wheat noodles, a soft-cooked egg, and scallions. Additionally, the menu will feature a rich Jumbo Lump Crab Cake with roasted vegetables and saffron. To finish the meal, guests can indulge in a warm Bananas Foster Bread Pudding.

Ideal for Louisiana fall temperatures, Miss River’s patio takes dining al fresco to the next level. The spacious outdoor dining area offers guests a scenic ambience to enjoy Chef Alon’s unique take on the New Orleans dining experience. Guests are invited to dine on the patio during brunch, lunch and dinner.

Miss River is open on weekdays for lunch (11:00 am – 3:00 pm), daily for dinner (5:30–10:00 pm), and weekend jazz brunch from 10:30 am to 3:00 pm.
