The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort, Bahamas Announces New “Tennis In Paradise” Package

The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort is home to some of the best tennis in The Bahamas. Now, guests can reserve the Tennis In Paradise package and enjoy unlimited court time, a tennis lesson for two, plus daily breakfast for two.

Those who reserve the package now through June 2025 can delight in the custom Giorgio Armani courtside collaboration, as part of the Resort’s participation in The Road to the Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic. The Ocean Club hosted the first tournament March 14-16, 2025, welcoming tennis legend Juan del Potro, and many guests had the opportunity to partake in a special clinic with Del Potro himself. With the Giorgio Armani decor, including custom courtside flags, seating, umpire chairs and more still on display, the stylish courts make the perfect Instagram-worthy photo backdrop.

“Tennis is back and better than ever, and it’s so great to see our beautiful courts have a spotlight on them,” says John Conway, General Manager. “Our courts have a tropical setting surrounded by palm trees and are easily accessible from the Resort’s guest room buildings. With one court lighted for nighttime play, and a terrific tennis pro available for lessons and clinics, the courts are welcoming for players of all levels.”

Helmed by Director of Tennis Marvin Rolle, an esteemed player who has represented The Bahamas in multiple competitions, Rolle won a bronze medal in the 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games. His father, Leo Rolle, was a distinguished tennis professional at The Ocean Club for more than 50 years, so the love of tennis runs in the family. Marvin Rolle is available for both private and group instruction.

Fitness

In addition to tennis, water sports abound, with kayaking, jet skiing, snorkelling and more all available to be arranged through the Concierge. The Resort’s Fitness Centre offers an indoor gym plus an outdoor “jungle gym,” and regular fitness classes from cardio to Pilates. Nearby, the 18-hole Tom Weiskopf designed Ocean Club Golf Course presents some of the most gorgeous scenery, along with a challenging layout.

Activities

In between tennis matches, at The Ocean Club, the main activity is relaxation: emphasis is on “island time” and taking a break. Unwind on the Resort’s many hammocks strung between the palms, take a float on the beach or in the quiet adult-only Versailles pool, or take a nap to the soothing sounds of the waterfall found at the family Lagoon Pool. Indulge in a spa treatment at the Resort’s Balinese-style spa, featuring eight intimate private spa bungalows with deep soaking tubs and indoor and outdoor space to unwind. Stop by the charming, freestanding Carlo boutique, newly renovated, to shop curated collections including designer apparel and fine jewellery. Carlo is located just steps from the main lobby, closer to the Crescent Wing.

The guest rooms and suites in the Crescent Wing are all recently renovated, featuring a beach-inspired colour scheme in shades of sand and aqua.
