Chefs Ethan Stowell and Brian Doherty Host James Beard Foundation Taste America Seattle with Culinary Stars at Four Seasons Hotel Seattle
Highlighting an exceptional new lineup of TasteTwenty chefs championing Good Food for Good
On Wednesday, November 1, 2023, Four Seasons Hotel Seattle will be transformed into a culinary experience bar none for Taste America, The James Beard Foundation culinary series. Presented by Capitol One, Taste America celebrates the chefs and local independent restaurants at the heart of their communities, bringing together chefs and food lovers for unique culinary experiences. Tickets for the Taste America Seattle tasting are on sale now.
The chefs will be hosted by two Seattle All-Stars: Executive Chefs Brian Doherty of Four Seasons Hotel Seattle and Goldfinch Tavern and Ethan Stowell of Ethan Stowell Restaurants (ESR). Chef Danielle Grogan will also highlight her pastry creations.
The Taste America Seattle tasting will feature 30 food and beverage stations at Four Seasons Hotel Seattle, bringing attendees pairings and face-to-face gourmet interactions highlighting the bounty of Washington and Seattle.
The event will feature host TasteTwenty chef Melissa Miranda from Musang, visiting TasteTwenty chef Ayo Balogun from Dept of Culture in New York City, as well as local chefs Blanca Rodriguez from PimientaBistro and Bar; Janet Becerra from Pancita; Karma Lee from Bobae Coffee & Tea; Aaron Verzosa from Archipelago: Paolo Campbell and Donald Adams from The Chicken Supply; Victor Steinbrueck from Local Tide; Trey Lamont from Jerk Shack; and Yenvy and Quynh-Vy Pham from Phở Bắc Sup Sho.
The event will also feature activations from valued national sponsors, including Capital One, Kerrygold USA, Maldon Sea Salt, Mountain Valley Spring Water, and VerTerra Dinnerware. Local partners include Niles Peacock Kitchen and Bar, Mary Hill Winery, UN WINE’D, Tito’s Vodka, Fonte Coffee, Mark Ryan Winery, Remus, Treveri Cellars, Goose Ridge Estate Vineyard and Winery, and more to come.
Proceeds from Taste America events benefit the participating chefs, as well as the James Beard Foundation’s national impact programming in support of equity, sustainability, women’s leadership, and a future where all can thrive for the culinary industry and beyond.
