Platinum Jubilee Afternoon Tea

Savour an exquisite Afternoon Tea inspired by Queen Elizabeth II. This special experience is organized in partnership with the British Embassy in Tokyo to commemorate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, marking 70 years on the throne.

Chef Elwyn presents a royalty-themed selection of sweets, each with a delightful name and story. The centrepiece of the menu is the Queen’s Hat, a sumptuous cake reflecting the monarch’s iconic headgear, made of light honey sponge, golden syrup mousse and lemon curd. The delicate macarons are infused with lavender, a bloom long favoured by the House of Windsor, while the Queen of Hearts is inspired by the famous jam tarts of Alice in Wonderland. The freshly baked scones, crafted with fine Japanese flour, lend a storybook air to teatime.

On the savoury side, five masterful creations by Chef Daniel are served at the table one by one, individually plated to perfection. The Chicken Liver Parfait offer a bistro-inspired surprise, while the elegant Croque Madame elevates a French classic.
