With Halloween around the corner, the nights are getting deeper and there’s a nip in the air… Celebrate the eerie festive spirit with Halloween Afternoon Tea 〜Monster Night〜 at MAISON MARUNOUCHI, the Parisian-style bistro at Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi.

Inspired by the ghostliest time of the year, Executive Pastry Chef Patrick Thibaud introduces a delightfully scary selection of sweets, available from October 1 to 31, 2024. Meet, click and savour iconic Halloween characters such as vampires, skeletons and mummies, presented with playful flair.

Setting the tone for a spook-tacular experience is Bloody-Coco, a delectable welcome beverage brimming with coconut and cherry flavours. The vivid drink gleams in the autumn sunshine, streaming in through the expansive windows and bringing with it views of the Marunouchi skyline and gliding Shinkansen bullet trains.

The Halloween Afternoon Tea 〜Monster Night〜 arrives dressed in vibrant autumn hues, crafted with the finest seasonal ingredients. Taking inspiration from Halloween legends and lore, Chef Patrick presents a cast of quirky characters, waiting to be Instagrammed and devoured.

The star of the line-up is surely the Vampire: experience the delicious irony of biting into the legendary Count Dracula, crafted with caramel mousse, pear jelly and almond biscuit.

Arriving in a sesame sablé basket, the Skeleton features sweet potato curd and honey-flavoured mousse — a combination reflecting the famous Japanese dish Daigaku Imo (candied sweet potato with honey and sesame).

Savour whimsical delights such as the Pumpkin, made of crispy choux filled with Hokkaido pumpkin cream and apricot jam, and the Mummy, brimming with fall favourites including chestnut and Fuji apple. The wide-eyed black Cat is crafted with Earl Grey financier with fig and raspberry jelly.

Last but not least, there is the quintessential teatime treat — light and fluffy Scones, available in original and matcha flavours.

Complementing the sweets selection is a curation of savouries by Chef Daniel Calvert, the man behind the award-winning acclaim of SÉZANNE (2 Michelin stars). Discover light and elegant bites, inspired by classic French bistro fare.
