The new year starts off strong at the award-winning Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village, which recently earned a AAA-Five Diamond for the 16th consecutive year and ranked #1 for best Los Angeles Resort in the U.S. News & World Report

Located just 20 minutes north of Malibu and set at the foothills of the Santa Monica Mountains, Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is a 12 acre (5 hectare) tranquil haven ideal for leisure travellers and business guests seeking an urban getaway. The Hotel offers a wide array of resort-like amenities offering guests the perfect backdrop to relax, recharge, reconnect and renew.

Known for its comprehensive wellness experiences, guests can indulge in the award-winning wellness services offered at the 40,000 square foot (3,700 square metre) spa and integrative health offerings made available at the on-site Center for Health & Wellbeing and new medical partner CURE Medical.

In addition to the property’s focus on health, Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village has become a hub for thoughtful dining experiences, which have become a favourite for out-of-town visitors and Angelenos. Coin & Candor, a California brasserie, features wood-fired dishes inspired by seasonality, while Onyx showcases Japanese classics, sushi and nigari. Prosperous Penny, the elevated watering hole, features artisanal cocktails in a setting that pays homage to prohibition days. The Cove Kitchen & Bar, the Hotel’s newest addition, offers a Baja-Mediterranean menu with views overlooking the expansive new pool.

Three distinct pool experiences offer something for everyone. From The Cove, a sprawling 2-acre (.8 hectare) pool, dining, and recreation space, to the adult-only Serenity Pool, to the year-round Indoor Pool, there are endless moments to soak in poolside pampering.

“These accolades further cement our prominence within our region and across the country,” explains Robert Cima, Regional Vice President and General Manager. “Our urban retreat is steeped in world-class amenities and experiences, set against a backdrop of an unparalleled destination. But what truly creates the lasting impression, is our people; their genuine care for each guest who visits our urban retreat is what distinguishes us from the rest.”

About AAA Five Diamond Designation

Earning the AAA Five Diamond designation acknowledges Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village as one of North America’s most luxurious accommodations and a premier establishment within the hospitality industry. The designation is only awarded to top-tier hotels that offer world-class luxury, amenities, and indulgence for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. To achieve the coveted AAA Five Diamond designation, hotels and restaurants must pass a rigorous evaluation that includes unannounced in-person inspections, anonymous overnight stays for hotels, and, finally, review by a panel of experts as an additional step to ensure credibility. All AAA Diamond Program hotels and restaurants are reevaluated annually to ensure they provide the best experience for travellers and diners.
