Coin & Candor, the Award-Winning California Brasserie Inside Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village, Hosts Annual “Dinner in the Dark” in Honour of Earth Day

For the 4th consecutive year, Coin & Candor, a seasonal brasserie inside Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village, celebrates Earth Day by turning off its lights and hosting Dinner in the Dark.

On Monday, April 22, 2024, Hotel guests and community locals are invited to savour Chef Jesus Medina’s wood-fired dishes while dining by candlelight. Guests will experience a night of ambiance and sustainability on Earth Day.

The Spring Menu at Coin & Candor includes:

  • Endive and Radicchio Salad, frisee, date vinaigrette, pecorino cheese 
  • Beets, toasted pine nuts, lemon gel, pickled onion, midnight moon cheese  
  • Steak Tartare, wagyu beef, cured egg yolk, potato-waffle chip
  • Tuna Crudo, hibiscus mignonette
  • Scallop Raviolis, ricotta, lemon butter sauce 
  • Potato Gnocchi, huitlacoche, Comte mornay, black truffle  
  • Striped Bass a la Veronique, confit tomatoes, garlic lemon sauce
  • Duck Leg Confit, spiced citrus marmalade, Spanish rice 
  • Wagyu Striploin, porcini seasoning, grilled cabbage and brown butter bearnaise 

Guests can also savour signature items such as the Baja red snapper with chimichurri, adobo, and herb salad (USD 52) or indulge in Chef Patrick Fahy's house-made red fife sourdough bread (USD 8) baked daily and served with organic Straus creamery butter. To view the complete menu click here.
