A New Approach to Luxury Wellness Travel
Today’s travellers are seeking destinations that set the stage to deepen a connection to their environment, new cultures and their own wellbeing. At Four Seasons Resort AMAALA, this begins with the lavish wellness centre, including the 2,095 square metre (22,550 square foot) HYLIAA Wellness & Spa – named for the Arabic word for “elegant beauty” - and a 511 square metre (5,500 square foot) fitness area. Embracing three pillars of sky, land and sea, a rich calendar of activities allows guests to enhance their own wellness practices while also experiencing something new, either as individuals, couples, families or friends travelling together. Curated one, two and three day wellness journeys can be tailored to focus on rebuilding the body, resetting the mind or reconnecting with self and nature.
Leading a team of dedicated local and international staff, including specialists in fitness, nutrition and holistic wellbeing, is General Manager Ulf Bremer. “What’s truly exciting here at Triple Bay is the intentional approach to wellness that extends throughout the entire destination. It’s so much more than a spa resort – it’s a place where individuals can define their own wellbeing, with abundant opportunities for cultural exploration, natural discovery, personal growth and more than a little indulgence at Four Seasons and beyond.”
Sample activities include sunrise and starlight yoga on the beach, sound healing sessions, interaction with visiting practitioners, guided walks and night hikes, culinary workshops, Islamic poetry readings, and guided stargazing and astrology. As part of the resort’s deep commitment to a sustainability program encompassing preservation and regeneration of the environment and leaving a positive impact on the local community, Four Seasons guests are also invited to participate in volunteer projects as part of the Four Seasons for Good program.
