Celebrate this Season at Mara at Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis

This year, celebrate the holidays at the Mediterranean-meets-Minneapolis destination restaurant Mara at Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis, helmed by renowned Chef Gavin Kaysen. The season’s offerings include special menus for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s, as well as an option for a Thanksgiving take-away meal to be enjoyed at home. Starting in November, a DJ will add a festive vibe to the Mara Bar and Lounge on Thursdays, and a variety of local musical acts will play in the dining room during brunch on Saturdays from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. In the holiday spirit, the Mara team is coming together to make the season memorable and welcoming for a gathering outside of the home. Collaborating with Chef Kaysen, Executive Chef Martín Morelli and Chef de Cuisine Thony Yang are preparing refined menus paired with desserts from Executive Pastry Chef Eddy Dhenin. Mara Assistant General Manager and Sommelier Paul Hennessy will be pouring curated wine pairings from the extensive wine list. Behind the bar, Beverage Director Adam Witherspoon will be mixing luxurious classic cocktails in abundance. Guests can enjoy a stay at Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis with the Celebration Package, which includes daily breakfast for two, chef’s celebration amenity, a bottle of Champagne, and overnight valet parking. Gather around the table for a special three-course family-style menu. Traditional favourites feature a twist such as Turkey Breast with Confit Leg Croquette and Spice Crusted Peterson Ham with Cornbread Stuffing. An array of 14 delectable sweets options will be available at a dessert buffet.

Can’t make it to Mara? Thanksgiving To-Go Kits are a Four Seasons tradition. Mara’s version is fully prepared and ready to enjoy - no cooking required - and comes with classics such as Oven Roasted Turkey, Sourdough Stuffing and Roasted Yams. End the night on a sweet note with Dutch Apple Pie and Pecan Pie.

Christmas Market

Ring in the season with a Christmas Market at Four Seasons Minneapolis. This event will feature a variety of hand-selected local vendors selling their wares in the Hotel lobby and next door at Socca Café. Santa will be walking around the market on Sunday, December 4 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm ready to take photos and spread some Christmas cheer. The market is open to the public as well as Hotel guests.

Enjoy an elevated Christmas Day experience at Mara with a prix-fixe menu featuring classic dishes infused with Mediterranean flavours. Options include a Cauliflower Panna Cotta with White Sturgeon Caviar or Sunchoke Soup with Black Truffles, and a Za’atar Crusted Prime Rib or Bacon-wrapped Monkfish with Celeriac Velouté. End the festivities with an array of hand-crafted desserts.
