December will see several celebrations taking place at 31 Avenue George V. Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris is once again shaking up the hotel scene, ending the year in style with a busy calendar of festive events that will take place over the course of the last month of 2023.

From December 1, 2023 to January 1, 2024, the Hotel's Michelin-starred gastronomy will be the focal point for a series of immersive and delightfully surprising evenings that are part of an artfully curated calendar of events. Renowned chefs and artists will work together to transform each dining experience into a platform for expressing their emotions. The Hotel’s acclaimed artistic director, Jeff Leatham, will enchant guests of all ages with his fabulous Christmas decorations in shimmering gold and silver hues, creating a magical and awe-inspiring atmosphere.

Celebrations at the Hotel will kick off on December 1 at Le Cinq, where the three Michelin-starred restaurant will host “Opera Notes,” which promises to be an exceptional evening. Dishes specially created by Christian Le Squer, such as Fine Coral Sheets of Lobster with Matured Royal Oscietra Caviar along with a mouthwatering Wild Duck Breast, will be paired with fine wines carefully selected by Eric Beaumard. Live piano and violin music accompanied by the enchanting voices of opera singers will grace the dining room, creating a harmonious musical symphony to complement the chef’s culinary masterpieces.

On December 9, guests will immerse themselves in a night of lively celebrations at Le George. The energetic evening entitled “Extravaganza” will celebrate Italian conviviality with a special Mediterranean menu featuring sharing plates by Chef Simone Zanoni, each prepared with locally sourced ingredients and crafted with a festive twist. Exuding style and sophistication, the evening promises to be a delightful social event that will transport diners from Tuscany’s Forte dei Marmi to the Italian capital.

On December 16, guests will be able to indulge in Chef Alan Taudon’s signature dishes at L'Orangerie, immersing themselves in a quintessentially Parisian ambience within La Galerie at the heart of the Hotel. For this stylish occasion featuring theatrical and musical performances alongside DJ sets, the Hotel’s team of mixologists will craft the most iconic cocktails of the city, which they’ve reimagined with a quirky “Paris is a party!” twist, for guests to fully experience the city’s vibrant and electrifying energy.

To experience the magic of Christmas Eve, guests will enjoy special menus created by Michelin-starred chefs, with dishes prepared using carefully sourced, top-quality ingredients. Diners can savour Perle Blanche Oysters with Champagne at Le Cinq, Bresse Chicken with Truffled Lentils at Le George, or Wild Turbot with Oscietra Caviar at La Galerie. These festive dinners will be enhanced by the soulful tunes of a Gospel choir, filling the Hotel with warmth and music.

The magic continues the following day with a Christmas Tea-Time experience crafted by Pastry Chef Michaël Bartocetti. Accompanied by the melodious voices of a Gospel choir and gentle piano tunes, this enchanting afternoon can be enjoyed with family and friends in the magnificent setting of La Galerie. Even Father Christmas himself will be part of the festivities. Guests with a sweet tooth or in need of a break between last-minute Christmas shopping sprees will be able to savour this delectable assortment of sweet delights starting from December 1.

To bid a stylish farewell to 2023 and ensure the last day of the year is truly memorable, the talents of the Hotel will transform December 31 into a dazzling occasion, seamlessly blending fine dining and festivities. Guests will be greeted by a lively orchestra in the lobby before indulging in exceptional culinary experiences at the Hotel’s Michelin-starred restaurants. This New Year's Eve will be adorned with surprises, artistic performances and musical acts that will enchant the entire Hotel. In this joyful ambience, the iconic countdown will take place in the heart of the Hotel at La Galerie, where guests will come together to ring in the New Year and dance the night away to tracks spun by a talented DJ.
