Thanks to a privileged location on the seventh floor of Four Seasons Hotel Madrid at the heart of luxury and gastronomy in the city, Dani Brasserie has become one of the most sought-after places to be in the capital. It is atop this Hotel where Chef Dani García highlights neoclassical recipes accompanied by a carefully selected list of wines that is intended to accentuate their gastronomic excellence. With lead sommelier Claudia Gozalbes in charge of the liquid offer, the restaurant has 600 different wines in a constantly growing and refreshing selection. All this has earned Dani Brasserie the 2024 Best of Award of Excellence from the prestigious Wine Spectator magazine.

Wine Spectator, an international magazine and a benchmark for wine culture with more than 30 years of experience, recognises the liquid offer at restaurants in more than 70 different countries around the world every year. The magazine hands out three different awards: Award of Excellence, Best of Award of Excellence and Grand Award. This year, Dani Brasserie has been recognised in the second category - Best of Award of Excellence - thanks to both its extensive and carefully selected wine list and the wide variety of wine-growing regions from which its wines are taken. This award also recognises the presentation, wine list design and customer experience, rewarding those restaurants that demonstrate a strong commitment to wine through both their selection and outstanding service.

According to Claudia Gozalbes, the three key factors to any success are “prudence, patience and perseverance.” This recognition from Wine Spectator is a perfect reflection of those values, highlighting the effort by Dani Brasserie to offer the best possible experience through a meticulous service and the very best wines. According to the magazine, those wines include select labels from outstanding regions of Spain, France (including Bourgogne and Champagne) and Italy that all share a goal to revive the passion that surrounds the wine universe.

Furthermore, Dani Brasserie is launching a new menu this summer with an emphasis on the self-taught and personal side of this chef from Malaga and revealing some signature cuisine based on innovative and age-old techniques. This new menu is perfectly paired by an extensive range of domestic and international wines, which include all the major wine-producing regions of the world: Alsace, Saint-Emilion, Chablis, Mendoza, Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Rías Baixas, Bordeaux, Magnums, Côte D’Or, Willamette Valley, Bekaa Valley, Abruzzo and Bekaa Valley, among others. The high-end wines and champagnes that can be enjoyed by the glass include Vega Sicilia, La Mondotte, Château d’Yquem, Louis Roederer, Domaine François Raveneau and Maison Valette. Similarly, this liquid offer is accompanied by the most innovative conservation systems to guarantee the highest quality of its wines, such as Covarin, which enables the harvest by major wine producers to be served by the glass without pulling the cork from the bottle and offers an outstanding level of conservation.
