Celebrating the rich and renowned history of New Orleans cocktail culture, Chandelier Bar is the glamorous lower-level centrepiece of Four Seasons Hotel New Orleans surrounding a namesake custom chandelier of 15,000 crystals.
Rooted in tradition, the curated menu pays homage to the Crescent City's drinking legacy and vibrant culture. We present masterful executions of legendary New Orleans cocktails, such as the Brandy Crusta, Roffignac, Sazerac and French 75, as well as our luxurious and maximalist Chandelier Martini, awarded Esquire’s 2023 Martini of the Year. Additionally, the team has brought to life a reimagination of New Orleans cocktail classics that might have been, using culinary techniques and flavours of our international city, such as the World’s Fair Fizz, Cocktail Orléans, and French 75.
Each drink is significant, but our cocktails are only a part of a traveller’s story. Abuzz with magic and live music, Chandelier Bar sets an elegant stage for guests to engage in the moment. Like in a beautiful dream, guests walk away with a smile, a humorous anecdote from their companions, and the memory of a song.
Every story told around the bar is reflected back through the prism of 15,000 hand strung Bohemian crystals from Czech Republic. The grand installation, designed by Preciosa, is arranged in an heirloom chandelier shape for which the bar is named. Chandelier Bar is the centrepiece of the lobby, offering 85 seats at the bar, in the lounge, and on the garden terrace in curated social spaces. The experience creates a layered story of discovery in a room subdivided by contemporary shutter screens of oak, iron, and art that create intimate spaces with their arrangement.
Overseeing the bar program at Chandelier Bar and throughout the Hotel is Beverage Director Hadi Ktiri. A veteran of the industry, Ktiri gained notoriety as one of the principal bartenders at the famed French 75 Bar at Arnaud’s, where he was awarded the 2017 James Beard Award for Outstanding Bar Program. The Chandelier Bar team is championed by Lead Bartender Casey Miller. Complementing the beverage program is a food menu by acclaimed New Orleans Chef Alon Shaya, showcasing innovative takes on New Orleans dishes ideal for all-day dining and sharing.
The Chandelier Bar has garnered impressive accolades, including being named Food and Wine's Best US Hotel Bar and Southern Living's Best New Hotel Bar. Esquire Magazine recognized the bar's exceptional offerings with two honours: Martini of the Year and a spot on the Best Bars in America list. Additionally, the Chandelier Bar was celebrated as a regional top 10 honouree at the Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards, solidifying its reputation as a standout destination in the hospitality scene.
The Chandelier Bar offers a unique cultural experience with live music performances by talented Preservation Hall Jazz musicians, bringing the vibrant sounds of New Orleans to life. Guests can also participate in cocktail classes, where they learn to craft two iconic New Orleans cocktails—the Sazerac and the French 75. After the class, participants take home a cocktail book to cherish their memorable experience.
