Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris Gears Up for an Unforgettable Summer Sporting Season
The Palace will be the go-to spot for tuning into the sporting season, featuring specially crafted menus, a vibrant Sports Bar and an exclusive capsule collection, available from July 21 to August 11
Stepping into the lobby of Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris, guests will be greeted by Jeff Leatham’s stunning floral arrangements, specially crafted by the Hotel’s renowned artistic director for the upcoming sporting season. Majestic and elegant, these floral sculptures set the stage for a month filled with events and celebrations.
To ensure both Parisians and visitors alike can fully immerse themselves in this year’s sporting excitement while savouring exceptional culinary creations, the Palace's restaurants will be expanding their gastronomic offering.
At Le Cinq and L'Orangerie, specially crafted menus will capture all the magic of this summer season. Three-Michelin-starred Le Cinq will offer a 12-course tasting menu, while at two Michelin-starred L’Orangerie diners can indulge in a seven-course menu. Each menu will celebrate the chefs’ signature creations, providing a rare opportunity for fine dining enthusiasts from around the globe to savour dishes that have brought international acclaim to Christian Le Squer and talented Chef Alan Taudon. Over the sporting season, Le Cinq and L'Orangerie will be open daily from 7:00 pm to 12:00 midnight.
At Le George, guests can savour sunny lunch dishes or enjoy an al fresco dinner under the stars in the charming setting of the Marble Courtyard. Whether between sporting events or following an action-packed day, patrons can savour Michelin-starred creations crafted by Simone Zanoni. The chef’s cuisine brings a Mediterranean flair, offering a relaxed, convivial experience infused with the spirit of la dolce vita. Simple à la carte creations will also be available throughout the afternoon for guests to enjoy a light bite before or after watching an event or tournament.
Sports fans can gather at the George V's Sports Bar, a temporary venue with a chic and stylish atmosphere where major sporting events will be broadcast. In this elegant, cosy lounge, complete with an imposing Renaissance fireplace and splendid 1930s wood panelling, guests can gather throughout the day to watch the action on a large screen. Outfitted with comfortable upholstered leather armchairs, it will be the perfect spot to sip refreshing drinks and savour sharing dishes in a convivial celebratory setting. The Sports Bar will feature vibrant outdoor seating on the terrace, which will be styled to resemble a basketball court, creating the ideal setting for supporters of all teams to mingle in a laidback environment.
To mark this momentous summer season, the Hotel has launched a capsule collection of clothing and accessories featuring the George V logo, with items available for purchase from the Hotel’s pop-up store. Clothing garments include sweatshirts, t-shirts, caps and socks – all made in France – while among the gadgets and accessories on display are travel bags, Stanley travel mugs and basketballs, the Hotel's emblem for this year’s sporting season. All make for lovely mementos of an unforgettable Parisian stay or as unique gifts for friends back at home.
The restaurants of Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris will remain open daily:
- Three-Michelin-starred Le Cinq will be open from 7:00 pm to 12:00 midnight, with a "Let's Play the Game at Le Cinq" menu will be served from July 21 to August 10, 2024 priced at EUR 750 per person, excluding drinks
- Two-Michelin-starred L'Orangerie will be open from 7:00 pm to 12:00 midnight, with a "Let's Play the Game at L'Orangerie" menu priced at EUR 280 per person, excluding drinks
- Michelin-starred Le George will be open daily from 12:30 to 3:00 pm, and from 7:00 to 11:00 pm; the Terrace will be open between 3:00 and 7:00 pm
- Sports Bar will be open daily from 12:00 noon to 12:00 midnight
- Concept Store will be open daily from 12:00 noon to 10:00 pm
