American Serengeti – Northern Yellowstone Wildlife Tour
Embark on an adventure to the northern tip of Yellowstone National Park, in partnership with Jackson Hole Wildlife Safaris and Yellowstone Safari Company. This area of the Park features some of the densest concentration of wildlife in the continental United States, and is commonly known as the American Serengeti. Depart on a private sunrise flight from Jackson Hole in a Swiss Pilatus aircraft, heading out on a day-long excursion guided by a team of naturalists and certified adventure experts. Signature wildlife for possible sightings include bison, bears, elk, moose, big horn sheep, raptors and mule deer. The experience can accommodate up to eight guests, at a cost of USD 16,750 inclusive of food and beverage.
Summer Family Package
The Suite Summer Adventure package includes suite accommodations and a complimentary “build your own” ice cream sundae amenity, along with a USD 200 daily Resort credit based on a three-night minimum stay. While on property, children will enjoy the “passport” to adventure activity ending with a special prize, along with an adventure backpack to explore the destination. Spacious suites offer the ideal basecamp to experience the best Jackson Hole has to offer, including access to Grand Teton National Park within moments of the property and Yellowstone National Park a short one-hour drive away. Other summer adventures perfect for families include mountain biking, hiking and climbing the Via Ferrata.
First Chair Grab & Go Launches This June
Open daily from morning to early evening, the mountainside First Chair grab-and-go market debuts this June, just in time for summer adventures. Fuel up for the day’s exploration with a pastry or light bite, accompanied by locally roasted coffee and fresh-pressed juices. Stop in later in the day for refreshments including cocktails and mocktails to go, sandwiches, and a selection of sweet treats presented by Executive Pastry Chef Rhonda Ashton.
Healing Treatments This Summer
Also new for summer 2024, The Spa introduces Omorovicza facial and body care. Featuring ingredients harvested from the healing thermal waters of Budapest, the line speaks organically to the same geothermal activities present in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. The first of these new Spa experiences is available this summer with the Vital Minerals Hungarian Body Polish and the Sacred Earth Body Ritual.
The 60-minute Vital Minerals Body Polish is a detoxifying treatment that starts with a full-body exfoliation using sea salt, Hungarian moor mud and capsicum peptide. This refines the skin texture and leaves it radiant and soft after an invigorating Swiss shower. A hydrating cream is then artfully applied to finish this reenergizing experience.
The 110-minute Sacred Earth Body Ritual features an aromatic and purifying experience, starting with a mineral-rich full body exfoliation using sea salt, Hungarian moor mud and capsicum peptide. This refines skin texture and leaves it radiant and soft. After rinsing away the polish, a deeply hydrating geothermal mud mask is swept across the skin as the body is enveloped in a nourishing wrap. A detoxifying hair and scalp treatment provides relaxation, exfoliation and hydration. A firming Vitamin E and sweet almond oil is massaged into the skin, promoting elasticity and youthful appearance.
All Things Culinary
The year-round, heated pool is the place to be for summer fun. The poolside cafe is open daily for lunch, and serves up a menu of fresh salads, sandwiches, burgers and more. To complement the summer menu, enjoy summer wine selections, offered by the glass and by the bottle.
For a casual bite, head to The Handle Bar, the perfect spot after a morning spent hiking, biking or climbing. For dinner, book a table at Westbank Grill, and enjoy a seasonal steakhouse menu firmly rooted in Wyoming, sourcing signature cuts of meat from nearby ranchers. For parties of 12 or more, order the Harvest menu, featuring a pre-set menu with choices including bison tenderloin with huckleberry sauce or Idaho trout with chimichurri.
Cap the evening with a stop in Ascent Lounge, offering a rotating seasonal cocktail selection and menu of pan-Asian bites. For a true local flavour, order the Wyoming Whiskey Cocktail Flight – featuring an Old Fashioned, Manhattan and Boulevardier – all made with different styles of Wyoming Whiskey.
Pop-Up Omakase Experience
Building upon the success of the winter activation, Ascent Lounge will feature a pop-up omakase residency from New York City-based Taikun Sushi. Guests will enjoy a special tasting menu at an intimate, custom-built, eight-seat sushi counter. The weekly rotating “chef’s choice” menu highlights the season's most premium fish, perfectly paired with a handpicked selection of sake and wine. The majority of the fish will be flown in daily directly from Tokyo’s Toyosu Fish Market, ensuring only the freshest and finest selections for each seating. The omakase experience is available Wednesday through Sunday, with two seatings each night. For reservations, call 307 732 5620 or book online.
Music in the Mountains
The 63rd season of the Grand Teton Music Festival will run for more than seven weeks this summer, from June 27 to August 17, 2024. Highlights include a world premiere by German composer Detlev Glanert, pianist Michelle Cann playing Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue; Third Coast Percussion performing Clarice Assad’s PLAY; Jennifer Koh playing Missy Mazzoli’s Violin Concerto; and Cliburn Piano Competition Silver Medallist Anna Geniushene performing Rachmaninoff’s Second Piano Concerto. Westbank Grill will open early prior to every Friday performance at 5:00 pm and dinner guests attending the performances will enjoy complimentary valet parking. After the concert, head to Ascent Lounge for a post-concert specialty cocktail.
Basecamp for Adventure
Head to the satellite Basecamp campus for everything adventure. Open daily, guests have access to complimentary disk golf discs, trekking poles, bocce balls and local trail maps. Additionally, guests and children ages 12 and up can rent a Pedego e-bike. While on property, guests also enjoy weekly complimentary programming including mocktail and cocktail classes, yoga, nature walks and specialty games just for kids.
Take to the Skies
The Jackson Hole Aerial Tram is open daily for the summer starting May 18, 2024 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Ride “Big Red” to embark on a hiking adventure, or simply enjoy the panoramic views from the new Grand Teton Skywalk viewing platform.
