Christmas Eve Dinner

On Christmas Eve at Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon, guests will feel the excitement of the festive season and have the chance to slow down, listen to the music and enjoy the anticipation that Christmas brings.

Varanda Restaurant

At Varanda Restaurant, Executive Chef Pascal Meynard and his talented team invite guests to enjoy a sumptuous candlelight dinner with Algarve shrimp, land caviar, chilli and lemon-grass, red mullet, spinach, green curry, cockle and of course, being in Portugal, there is cod.

“Christmas is the time to celebrate what really matters, and being with our friends and families. It's very special that our guests want to spend this time with us, so we want to present them with something memorable and as special - the very best gastronomic meals,” says Executive Chef Pascal Meynard.

CURA Restaurant

At CURA guests can enjoy a delicious menu of festive dishes prepared by Chef Pedro Pena Bastos at Michelin-starred CURA Restaurant including scarlet prawn, lemon thyme curd, green shiso, green apple, lupine; turbot, cuscos transmontanos, black truffle, leek and the traditional Portuguese abade de priscos and physalis.

Christmas Day Brunch

Main dishes at the lavish brunch include lobster consommé, yuzu and lemon-grass, cod confit with sweet pepper La Vera, roasted onion, New Zealand spinach and roasted kid with wild mushrooms, carrots, pickles, coriander.

New Year’s Eve Dinner

Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon is well renowned as the best place to go for New Year’s Eve celebrations in Lisbon.

In the Grand Ballroom there will be a live midnight countdown to start 2023 with a bang. There’s no need to rush off when the clock strikes midnight, as guests can dance the night away on the dance floor with family and friends.

Sesimbra oysters, foie gras, Dublin bay prawn, neuvic oscietra caviar and tajima wagyu picanha are all included in a delicious dinner created by Executive Chef Pascal Meynard and toast the New Year with half a bottle of Grand Cru Delamotte Blanc De Blancs Champagne ou Delamotte Brut Champagne.

New Year’s Eve at CURA is guaranteed to be an unforgettable evening. For one night only, Chef Pedro Pena Bastos will offer an outstanding festive dinner to ring in the new-year, with his signature squid, hazelnut, osietra caviar, daikon dish as well as other delicacies including bluefin tuna, boletus, leeks and blue lobster, saffron, smoked potato, caviar lime.

New Year’s Day Brunch

On Christmas and New Year's Day, the festivities continue and brunch is the ideal time to bring everyone together around the table again. Guests are spoilt for choice with hot and cold stations, sushi and sashimi stations, among others, and traditional Portuguese festive desserts including fatias douradas, bolo rei and bolo rainha.

Ritz Delicatessen Take-Away

For those who prefer to enjoy the festive season at home, Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon invites clients to dress their table for the festive menu that Ritz Delicatessen, the Hotel's take-away service, has put together. There will of course be no lack of cod, traditional bolo rei and bolo rainha, and everything that one spends the rest of the year craving for, including the Hotel’s decadent Yule logs, almost too cute to eat.

“The festive season is the best time of the year for me! I’m a sweet tooth, and this is the time I not only prepare the most desserts and cakes, but also taste them, multiple times,” says Pastry Chef Diogo Lopes. This year’s novelties include an extra large chocolate bauble and advent calendar.

Festive Afternoon Tea

During the Christmas season, traditional Afternoon Tea in the Almada Negreiros Lounge will be given a festive twist. Guests can enjoy delicate finger sandwiches, delicious mouth-watering Christmas-themed pastries, freshly made scones with clotted cream and homemade strawberry preserve prepared by Executive Pastry Chef Diogo Lopes and a choice different types of loose-leaf tea, including brews from the Azores Islands.

The Ritz Spa invites guests to experience the resurfacing and rejuvenation of one’s skin with the legendary Fire and Ice Facial treatments by iS Clinical, just in time for that festive season glow.
