Fall is the Season of Surprise at Four Seasons Hotel Houston

Houston’s downtown destination invites guests to discover and celebrate with experiences and events throughout the season
August 31, 2022,
Houston, U.S.A.

As the fourth largest and most diverse city in America, Houston offers an abundance of experiences, many unexpected, for locals and guests from around the world. At the epicentre where Southern charm and urban elegance collide, Four Seasons Hotel Houston celebrates the fall season with an exciting offering of activities and experiences, all complemented by some of the best weather of the year.

"Fall is such a desirable time to be here in H-Town and at the Hotel,” says Tom Segesta, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Houston. “With Houston’s downtown destination as home base, we invite visitors and locals to explore all the city has to offer – guided by our hospitality experts, I’m sure they’ll be surprised at all there is to discover and experience.”

In addition to the Hotel’s fall 2022 season-long offerings of:

  • Bourbon Tasting Experience – Dive deep into the world of “America’s spirit” during a private bourbon tasting at Bayou & Bottle. Taking place among the Bourbon Lockers and led by one of the bar’s Certified Bourbon Stewards, guests will be guided through a curated tasting from an impressive selection of more than 200 whiskies from around the world. This one-hour tasting is completely customizable and is priced from USD 100 per person.
  • Beats in Bayou - join us Friday nights at Bayou & Bottle from 8:00 pm until 12:00 midnight for a live performance by local BELLOSOUND DJs, mouth-watering cocktails and delectable cuisine.
  • The Nail Bar – Spa fans will delight at The Nail Bar’s fabulous new Southern Scrub & Sip Manicure or Pedicure, where hands and feet will be pampered with the scents and a taste of the South. Begin with trimming, filing, and shaping nails followed by an exfoliating Texas-made scrub infused with bourbon, brown sugar, and scented with gingersnap-pecan, while vitamin E and antioxidants reduce signs of aging. A weightless body mousse follows, hydrating and nourishing newly-refreshed skin. Finish with perfectly polished nails by Zoya Natural Nail Polish and glass of limited-batch Garrison Brothers Single Barrel Cask Strength bourbon whiskey, created exclusively for Bayou & Bottle. These 45-60 minute treatments are priced at USD 85 (manicure) and USD 95 (pedicure).
  • Krigler – The celebrated perfume house introduces a new scent for the fall, ideal for holiday gifting. Krigler’s Good Fir 11 was originally created in 1911 by Albert Krigler, founder of the family fragrance maison, as homage to Colorado after he travelled by train through its snowy, pine-dappled peaks. Amazed by the luxuriant evergreens he spotted on that journey, he commemorated them in this fresh, cologne-like scent. Good Fir 11 will be available at the Hotel’s boutique in two sizes, 5 0ml (USD 810) and 100 ml (USD 1,215). Additionally, Krigler is introducing its Aquarelle Candle Collection of large, scented candles, with each colour representing the palette of the Mediterranean coast that inspired the likes of Picasso, Monet, and Van Gogh. With a burn time of 120 hours, the Aquarelle Candles are priced at USD 840 each and are available beginning October 19.
  • Burger Wednesdays – Indulge in Bayou & Bottle’s famous Brisket Burger for just USD 6 or kick it up with Chef Godstime Ebeagbor’s weekly Kicked-Up Burger creation for USD 15. Available Wednesdays from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm.
  • “Suviche” Making Class - Join Cho, the Toro Toro “suviche” chef, for a personalized class, where guests will learn (and taste) the expert art of making sushi and ceviche. Available Tuesday through Saturday, pricing for this private experience starts at USD 200 per person and includes hand-rolled sushi, ceviche, and sake.
  • Mixology Class – With this expert-led private experience, groups up to 12 guests will be led through a creative and interactive mixology class by one of the Hotel’s talented bartenders. This 90-minute class includes two cocktails, bar snacks, and an individual takeaway. From USD 75 per person.
  • POWA by Sphere – Take in a fun, high-intensity 30-minute POWA workout every Wednesday at 5:30 pm and 6:00 pm, and Saturday at 10:00 am and 10:30 am, with the Hotel’s fitness partner Sphere. Sessions are priced at USD 35 per person.
  • Old Fashioned Welcome – In-house guests are invited to enjoy a complimentary tasting of Bayou & Bottle’s signature Dr. Pepper Old Fashioned, guided by one of the Hotel’s Certified Bourbon Stewards. This guided tasting takes place each Friday between 2:00 and 4:00 pm adjacent to the reception desk.
  • Harper + Jones – Harper + Jones introduces its limited edition Fall/Winter 2022 Ready-To-Wear Collection. Handcrafted from the most luxurious fabrics in rich fall-inspired colours, the softest suedes, and Italian leather, this collection offers the perfect refresh to outerwear jacketing just in time for the season. Additionally, Harper + Jones is booking appointments with their custom program, curating looks from casual to formal occasions.
  • Bandista – In expected fashion, Bandista, the Hotel’s speakeasy bar and lounge, introduces the Menage a Trois, which pushes the boundaries on what a cocktail actually is. This newest creation from beverage manager Johnathan Jones transforms a Brandy Alexander into a trio of experiences, priced at USD 103. First is a fog of Krigler Established Cognac 66 perfume, followed by made-to-order Brandy Alexander ice cream. Lastly, he takes cognac with an added nose of chocolate, and the mouthfeel of cream to create a spirit-only version. Bandista is open Wednesdays (beginning September 14), Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 5:00 pm until 12:00 midnight. Reservations are required.
